In 2003, I began exploring the use of blogging software as a content management platform for sharing course-related information. I documented the process of developing my courseware on my blog, and my approach was adopted by a number of faculty worldwide.
I continued to maintain the blog-based templates for my courseware until this year; I am now investigating porting my templates from Movable Type, a commercial offering, to WordPress, which is an open source blogging and content management solution.
